As a ray of light pierces through the clouds, it overcomes the shadow that they cast upon the earth. The dull
and dreary day becomes bright and colorful.
This is exactly what happens to each of us when we allow the light of God to shine through us. His light
separates the cloudy desires of our carnal nature and pierces our very soul. In truth, it causes us to become
who he would have us to be. It destroys our own desires and replaces them with the desires of God.
Many of us have had this to happen to us, however, after a short while we wind up returning to our old ways,
or becoming slack in our new ways. This is not the plan of God. Gods plan is for each of us to continue to
grow, in knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. He wants us to be encouraged, and to encourage others. He
desires us to be a light in the world. A light that overcomes darkness, and shines brightly for all to see.
This is what "Men of New Vision" is all about. It is men, encouraging men in the word of God, standing strong
together, rejoicing in the light that He has placed in us.
To many men today are not fulfilling the plan of God for their lives. They have become complacent and
discouraged. They have allowed the adversary to overtake them, they have been conquered by the physical
things of this world and are merely holding on to hope. This should not be. God has a specific role for all
individuals written in the bible. Men are to be the load bearers, the labor force, comforters, respectful sons,
loving husbands, and caring fathers. Men are to be leaders in the community, leaders in the family, and leaders
in the church.
"Men of New Vision" was founded for this purpose, to be a help to men through the word of God. It is simply
this, men with a vision, enabling those without a vision. In considering this, I am reminded of Moses.
Moses spent forty years in Egypt, without a vision, then another forty years in Midian, without a vision, then he
was called by God to be a leader of Gods people. The first thing he did was to complain. That is the number
one reason why men are not fulfilling their roles today. Moses was faithful to God and fulfilled all that God had
called him to, and in the end he climbed up to the top of the mountain and was shown the vision of all that God
had promised him. The bible says that his eyesight was not dim, he could see clearly. After this took place,
Moses went on to be with the Lord.
I said all that to say this, you do not have to wait for your death to see the vision of Gods plan for your life.
God has called a handful of men together to help enable you to see His vision for your life today.
This ministry is the combined effort of the leaders and churches in our community to call men to action. Now
is the time for all men to stand up and be counted for the Lord Jesus Christ. Now is the time to let the light of
Christ shine through you.
